“This was the perfect fix for my situation. The way my dryer was vented before it would sometimes overheat and get very hot so I had to have it pulled several feet away from the wall to keep it from overheating.
Now after installing the MagVent I could have the dryer pushed less than a foot away from the wall and no more overheating. It also gives me much more space in room in front of the dryer which I never had. MagVent works perfect and was very easy to install!”

“We bought one for the tiniest laundry room ever! We have front load washer and dryer, on pedestals, in a laundry room *Just* wide enough to fit them both. To make matters worse, the plumbing was opposite of what we needed to allow the front loading doors to open away from each other. It was so cramped that I knew there would be no good way to install the dryer vent without it being excessively long and likely pinched. At our old home, often times the blocked vent sensor would trigger, and I suspected it was because of flow restriction due to all the bends and kinks a long flexible vent can cause. So, to alleviate both concerns, I decided to use rigid venting and the MagVent! Installing the MagVent was the easiest part of the install. We wrestled the dryer into position, and to my delight, the MagVent clicked perfectly into place mere inches away from the wall! The MagVent is pricey, but worth it! Also - we no longer have blocked vent warnings! AND - I swear my dryer dries clothes in half the time, too!”

“My dryer was in an impossible place to access for a good venting system. I thought I might have to drill a new hole in the wall to solve the problem! Then I saw MagVent in a Lee Valley Tools catalog and knew it was the answer. In the before photos you can see how the existing vent had to be folded upon itself. We actually had to pull the dryer out from the wall a foot in order to have proper exhaust. You can see how the wear and tear was creating a dirty and dangerous situation. After? Works like a charm!”

“We really needed this option to install our dryer!
The positioning of the laundry tub did not allow access to the hole from the side.
We would have needed to attach a long connector while the dryer was out from the wall and then hope that we could bend it in a way that would allow us to push the dryer close enough to the back wall so not to hang out into to the doorway to the neighboring kitchen!
When I found MagVent online, it seemed to provide the perfect solution! We had no time to wait for delivery, this item was popular and out of stock where we looked online. An indicator that it was a good product ! Luckily we found a local store with one on hand!
We were able to attach the bracket to the baseboard, though the contours in the board made it little bit tricky to place the screws.. but..
The rest of the installation went well. We were very happy with the final result! No messy long dusty connecting hose!
The the hole on the dryer and the vent hole in the wall were perfectly aligned, no bends required!
Dryer fit tight to the wall and does not even come out as far as the doorway trim!”

“Now I can clean the duct and behind the dryer without struggling to get the flexible duct back on, in the tight space!
Installation was easy. It took me a little over an hour just because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. The hardest part was getting the semi-rigid flexible duct onto the wall-side tailpiece. (I had to straighten out the lip to get it over, which was no big deal since the metal is fairly soft. Using a screwdriver to tighten the hose clamp near that strong magnet was a challenge, too!)
The result, though, was worth it. Clean, neat, tight installation. A very solid product!”

In 15 years and 4 different solutions I’ve never been able to prevent our dryer venting from leaking lint into the room. Had to use on a press on fit to the dryer, which always leaked. Or a very long hose, which always clogged..
Installed MagVent in 15 minutes. Dryer is now movable for vent cleaning and venting is air tight.

“We purchased a MagVent to help with better positioning of our new dryer. This product is the best ever. We have our dryer closer to the wall now. It is so easy to pull out dryer & push back. I have done it myself with ease. I love that I now have space for my collapsible laundry basket. I will tell everyone about the MagVent. I could be the poster child for MagVent. This is so awesome. Love, love, love. Our old vent (hard to see in pic) never allowed us to be close to wall. The lint was a problem as well. It was easy to install! I am thrilled beyond measure. We had to install a new sink in laundry room. How easy was it to pull dryer out to reach plumbing & then push back? Oh my gosh, easy peasy. I had to do that several times over several days. You can’t imagine how thankful we were to have the MagVent installed when doing that project!

“I just installed your product. Well made, very easy to install the MV-90 portion. The hardest part was putting the portion on to the dryer itself! Not sure if because ours is a NG dryer the shape of the back of it made it very difficult to attach the clamp. Almost had to go by feel cause I couldn't see the the bolt. Not a problem with your product, just a curvy surface on the back of our dryer!
All in all great product, was especially cool watching it snap together just like video.

“Hello,
Thank you for creating the MagVent. I found the product to be high quality and solved my installation issue. I discovered that my dryer vent was held up by friction only, and the only way to create a better connection was through the MagVent.
Before:
The jointing piece was not secured to neither the dryer or the vent inside the wall, also the vent opening was all the way on the bottom of the wall.
Installing the wall bracket:
I had to cut away the baseboard because the vent was so low on the wall.
Final connection:
There was just enough room to make the flex connection go down about 3 inches from the dryer. The magnet part works perfectly.

“ I didn't take a before photo, but you can see how fun it would be to attach a standard flex pipe to a 1" tall stub sticking out of the floor. Impossible to attach to the dryer and move it into place without it popping off. With the MagVent 90, it was a snap (pun intended). I showed the MagVent to the flooring contractors who were laying our new tile, and they thought it was the coolest thing they'd ever seen. I just installed it this morning, and I'm already singing its praises! Thanks for making my life so much easier!”

“I remodeled our laundry room and wanted to switch to front loading laundry machines, the problem was the depth of the room. I needed to have the dryer basically flat against the wall. That is when I saw your ad come up on Facebook. It was perfect for my application. As you can see in the picture, my dryer is almost touching the back wall. The MagVent gave me the clearance I need to have the dryer door open, and still open the laundry room door. I don't have to worry about connecting the vent either. If I need to maintenance the machines I can just pull them out, work on them, then push them back in. It allowed us to maximize our space and have our perfect laundry room.

“I found this item on YouTube and it works great. My dryer is in a tight spot behind bi-fold doors. I have to get the dryer tight to the wall so a conventional vent will not work. It was always a pain to pull the dryer out and try to get it back without destroying the 4” aluminum vent. With this system, I could pull the dryer out if needed and slide it right back into place. Great product!”
